As the CEO of NETLINKS Ltd, Ghyasi has worked on a number of Information Systems Design projects for the Government of Afghanistan, International Organizations and private companies in Afghanistan. With over 8 years of experience in IT consultancy carrying out design, management, development and deployment of critical systems such as the Credit Registry system for the central bank of Afghanistan, Case management system for the Attorney General’s office, and Vehicle Plate registration system for the traffic department.Mr. Ghyasi has in-dept understanding of analyzing government functions and designing information systems to automate those functions and make them more efficient. Ghyasi is the founding member of the National ICT Alliance of Afghanistan and has also worked with the Ministry of Communications & IT through UNDP’s ICT project in Afghanistan.
Ghyasi holds a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems concentrating on Databases and Data mining from International Islamic University Malaysia and a Masters Degree in E-Business Management concentrating on IT Strategy & Policy Planning and Mobile Government.
Ghyasi occasionally teaches at a number of universities in Afghanistan including Kardan University where he introduced subjects such as Introduction to IT and E-Commerce and the American University of Afghanistan.
